Environment: Front Range glaciers melting 736 Reads
.
.
Boulder The Daily Camera (free registration required) is reporting that "The state's largest glacier is shrinking fast, and University of Colorado researchers suspect global warming is playing a role." In my own personal observations of the glacier over the past six years, it does indeed seem to be getting smaller. I had thought that it was perhaps just me, but I guess I'm not as paranoid as I had throught. Read the story here.

Tom's Hardware - VGA Charts IV 553 Reads
.
.
Hardware Tom's Hardware has the best Video Card comparison out there, problem is they only do it once a year.. They released the 2004 version about a month ago.

Oct 10, 2004 - It's that time of the year again, and THG's fourth annual VGA charts show that while fewer cards were released, ATi's and NVIDIA's cards offered some excitement with noteworthy performance gains. This year's VGA charts also feature performance tests for 10 games and benchmarks in three resolutions and quality settings, including an overview of 35 AGP graphics card classes from ATi, NVIDIA, S3 and XG.

Hans' Post-Election Day Blog Entry 862 Reads
.
.
Politics I notice that "Politics" is not a Topic on the pulldown list...as Little Steven said, "What's more personal than politics?"

Here's a blog entry from our buddy Hans, a day after the election, which I spent mostly drunk. At least George Bush gave me that much...an excuse.

This should be an ammendment to the Constitution 569 Reads
.
.
Politics I think this was written by Robin Williams.... No matter who wrote it, it should be passed as an ammendment to our constitution. It's time for our nation to digest what it has learned these past two hundred years and create new goals.
